How to get here

By air

From Capodichino-Napoli airport, you can reach the Molo Beverello (Naples main harbour) using either a taxi or the public bus. A shuttle bus links the airport directly with Molo Beverello and the ticket can be bought on board. By taxi it is also possible to reach the tourist pier of Mergellina from which some few hydrofoils depart for the island of Ischia.

By Train

The Naples Central Station or the Mergellina Station are not far from the harbours. The Central Station is about 2 kms from Molo Beverello which can be reached easily either by taxi or bus. Tickets are available at the Station. The Mergellina Station is about 500 metres from the tourist port of Mergellina, from which only hydrofoils depart. The port can be reached by taxi or on foot.

By car

Motorway for Naples: after the Naples toll booth, continue to drive for about 12 kms and take the Tangenziale ring road towards Pozzuoli. Follow the ring road until you arrive to toll booth and leave the Tangenziale taking the first exit Via Campana. Follow signs for the port and embark for Ischia Porto or Casamicciola Terme. If you choose to reach Ischia from Napoli, soon after the motorway toll booth, follow the signs Nappoli Zona Portuale (harbour area) and then follow the signs for Calata Porta di Massa to embark for Ischia.
